Why this subwoofer
Not a burst figure: 200 W RMS is the power the voice coil handles continuously, with 400 W of peak headroom on top.
The bigger the coil, the more heat it dissipates and the longer it survives a real session. Wound with 200 °C copper (Cu).
Two coils: in parallel 1 ohm, in series 4 ohm. You choose the impedance that matches your amplifier instead of the other way round.
Black non-pressed paper cone, wire large “R” form suspension: a light moving assembly that gives full bass with a small amplifier.

Complete the system
Before you install it
- Decide the impedance before you wire it. The two 2 ohm coils in parallel give 1 ohm, in series 4 ohm. Check that your amplifier is stable at the impedance you choose.
- Match the amplifier to 200 W RMS. Sizing on the 400 W PEAK figure means overdriving the coil: use the RMS value.
- Build the enclosure rigid. Even a 10" cone loads the box: thick panels, braced and sealed, or the box will lose output and rattle. The product sheet does not give a recommended box volume: write to us and we will work it out with you.
- Size the power cable for the amplifier, with an inline fuse close to the battery and a ground point on bare metal.
