Why this amplifier
A single class D output stage delivers 6000 W RMS into 2 ohm: no bridging, no power split between two channels. Everything goes to the subwoofer.
Smart cooling system with a temperature-driven fan on top of the finned chassis. The fan only spins when the amplifier asks for it, and the output stage keeps working when the music does not stop.
The power panel carries two GND / REM / +12 V terminal blocks, one on each side, so the current arrives on two runs instead of one and the connection stays cool under load.
Protection against output short circuit, high supply voltage, low supply voltage and overheating. It works from 9 V to 16 V, so a starting dip does not become a repair.

The SP-6000.1D arrives ready to be mounted: chassis with four fixing feet, direct-insert screw terminals and the complete control panel. Everything that goes around it — cable, fuse, ground, distribution — is chosen on the car, not on the amplifier.

Complete the system
Before you install it
- Cable section and fuse come first. On an amplifier of this class the run from the battery is normally 0 AWG, with a main fuse within 20 cm of the battery sized to the cable. An undersized cable is the most common cause of voltage drop and disappointing bass.
- Ground on clean metal, short. Scrape the paint off, use the same section as the positive and keep the ground lead as short as you can. Most “noise problems” are ground problems.
- Leave the fan and the fins free. The amplifier cools itself with a temperature-driven fan and a finned chassis: never cover it with carpet, luggage or foam, and leave air around it.
- Set the gain last, and set it as a match, not a volume. Bass boost at 0, source at about three quarters, then raise the gain until it is loud and clean, and stop there. The supply must stay between 9 V and 16 V while it plays.
