Why this amplifier
80 W RMS per channel at 4 ohm and 160 W RMS at 2 ohm. One amplifier covers the whole cabin instead of two, and the power run stays single.
Two channels bridged give 320 W RMS each at 4 ohm: enough for a pair of midranges, with the other pair still free for the front stage.
High-pass 50 – 250 Hz and low-pass 120 Hz – 3 kHz, adjustable on the amplifier. No external processor needed to keep the tweeters clean and the midbass loaded.
Input sensitivity 200 mV – 8 V and a 9 – 16 V supply range. Factory head units, aftermarket units and DSP outputs all drive it without clipping the input.

Complete the system
Before you install it
- Power cable and fuse first. The amplifier takes two 25 A fuses; fit an inline fuse on the power cable as close as possible to the battery, sized to the cable section you use.
- Clean chassis ground. Ground on bare metal, paint and primer removed, with the shortest possible cable. Most noise problems on a 4-channel install start here.
- Leave it room to breathe. The aluminium body is the cooling system: never cover the amplifier with carpet, luggage or foam, and never mount it face down in a sealed cavity.
- Set the gain by ear, not to maximum. Gain is an input matching control, not a volume knob: raise it until the sound is clean and loud, and back off at the first sign of distortion.
