Why this tweeter
Continuous power, not burst. When the front stage runs on serious amplification, this is the tweeter that keeps up with it instead of asking for mercy.
1.75" of CCAW aluminium wire. The bigger the coil, the more heat it can move out of the gap — which is exactly what 200 W RMS demands.
A 25 mm throat with a horn in front of it. The output goes forward, towards the listener, which is where the efficiency and the presence come from.
104 mm across, 73 mm deep, 1.45 kg. It handles 200 W RMS in a housing that still fits on an A-pillar or a kick panel.

Complete the system
Before you install it
- Never connect it straight to the amplifier. A bullet tweeter always needs a crossover, or at the very least a capacitor in series. Full range on a tweeter destroys the voice coil in seconds — 200 W RMS makes it faster, not safer.
- Cross it high, not low. This is a super tweeter: it plays the top of the range and nothing else. The mid-bass belongs to the midrange, the bass to the subwoofer.
- Do not go below 4 ohm per channel. Two tweeters in parallel on one channel give 2 ohm: most amplifiers will heat up or go into protection.
- Aim it, and set the gain low. The horn is directional, so point it at the listener; then bring the level up slowly. Clipping kills tweeters far more often than power does.
