An entry-level 10"/25 cm subwoofer for a first bass system, or for a car where a 12" will not fit: single 4 ohm voice coil, 250 W RMS continuous, 500 W peak, 92.4 dB sensitivity. 50.5 mm (2") voice coil wound with 200 °C copper wire, black non-pressed paper cone, large "R" suspension. Two terminals, one impedance: nothing to work out. Sold per unit.

Why this subwoofer
Not a burst figure: 250 W RMS is what the voice coil takes continuously, with 500 W of peak headroom. A small mono amplifier is all it asks for.
A single 4 ohm voice coil: two terminals, one wiring option, no impedance maths. Any mono amplifier stable at 4 ohm will drive it.
High sensitivity for this class: it gives usable output without a large amplifier, which keeps the whole build cheap and easy on the electrical system.
261 mm nominal diameter: a real subwoofer for a small boot or a compact box. Black non-pressed paper cone and large "R" suspension.

Complete the system
Before you install it
- Check the amplifier is stable at 4 ohm. This is a single 4 ohm coil: there is only one way to wire it, and the amplifier has to work at that load.
- Match the amplifier to 250 W RMS. Sizing on the 500 W peak figure means overdriving the coil: use the RMS value.
- Build the enclosure rigid and sealed. Thick, braced, airtight panels. The recommended volume is in the manual — an undersized or leaking box loses output and rattles.
- Size the power cable for the amplifier, with an inline fuse close to the battery and a ground point on bare metal.
