A 6×9"/16×22 cm four way coaxial: a black PP cone with a rubber surround, a 58 mm mylar midrange and two 15 mm mylar tweeters built into the middle. 150 W RMS, 4 ohm, 68 Hz to 20 kHz. Everything is inside the speaker — no external crossover to fit. Sold as a pair.

Why this 6×9
Midrange and tweeters are built into the speaker. Two wires from the head unit or the amplifier and it plays the whole range — no external crossover, no separate tweeter to position.
A 6×9" cone has a bigger surface than a round 6.5". On the rear shelf that means real low end without a subwoofer, down to 68 Hz.
A 58 mm mylar midrange and two 15 mm mylar tweeters sit on the pole piece: voices stay separated from the bass and the top end runs to 20 kHz.
Black PP cone with a rubber surround: it does not care about damp, sun on the rear window or ten Italian summers.

Complete the system
Before you install it
- Measure the oval hole and the depth. A 6×9" needs a 6×9" cut-out, and the magnet needs room behind it. On a rear shelf check the boot lid and the seat belt reels before you cut; on a door, check the window glass in the fully lowered position.
- Do not go below 4 ohm per channel. Two speakers in parallel on one channel give 2 ohm: most amplifiers will heat up or go into protection.
- A rear shelf is a baffle — seal it. If the sound goes straight into the boot the low end disappears. Close the openings around the speaker and you gain more than by changing model.
- Set the gain properly. Clipping kills voice coils far more often than power does. On a head unit alone it will play, but at lower volume.
