Why this amplifier
60 W RMS per channel at 4 ohm, 140 W RMS per channel at 2 ohm. Wire your pair of speakers at 2 ohm and the amplifier gives more than twice the power.
20 Hz – 20 kHz with THD below 0.1% and a signal-to-noise ratio above 94 dB. Linear class AB topology, not a switching output stage.
Low-pass 40–120 Hz and high-pass 50–250 Hz, plus bass boost 0–12 dB: the same amplifier drives a front stage or a bass channel.
Input level 0.2 V – 5 V, so factory low-level sources and high-output head units both drive it, and a protection system covers the output stage.

Complete the system
Before you install it
- Size the power cable and the inline fuse. Use a cable section suited to the current and a main fuse within 20 cm of the battery.
- Clean chassis ground. Ground on bare metal, scraped free of paint, with the shortest cable you can run.
- Leave it ventilated. Class AB heats up: mount the amplifier with free air around it and never cover it with carpet, luggage or foam.
- Set the gain to the source, not to maximum. The input takes 0.2 V to 5 V: match it to your head unit instead of turning the gain fully up.
