Why this coaxial
A 58 mm mylar midrange and two 15 mm mylar tweeters sit in front of the cone. One speaker, one hole, one pair of wires.
Injection PP, grey, rubber edge. Injection-moulded polypropylene does not soften with damp or heat, and the rubber edge keeps working for years.
A 30.5 mm voice coil on a strontium magnet: 150 W RMS continuous, 300 W peak, per speaker.
6×9" nominal, 4 ohm. It goes where the car or the rear shelf has an oval 6×9" location.

Complete the system
Before you install it
- Measure the location and the depth first. Check the 6×9" cut-out and the free space behind the panel or the rear shelf before you order.
- Do not go below 4 ohm per channel. Two speakers in parallel on one channel give 2 ohm: most head units and small amplifiers will heat up or go into protection.
- With a powerful amplifier, use a high-pass filter. Cut below 100 Hz and leave the deep bass to a subwoofer.
- Respect the polarity. Wiring both speakers in phase changes more than any setting on the head unit.
