SR-100 — the source unit that is already the processor
A single-DIN receiver with a full Core-DSP engine on board: 31-band parametric EQ with its own Q per band, per-channel crossover, per-channel time alignment, and 8 RCA pre-outs up to 5 V for your amplifiers. Bluetooth 6.0, USB, FM, the SPAUDIO app, D-SWC steering-wheel training with no adapter box, and RGB backlighting. A standard multi-amplifier system built around it needs no outboard processor.
What the numbers actually say
These are the manufacturer’s declared figures for the SR-100 (manual Rev. 1.0, September 2026). Read them the right way round: the on-board amplifier is a convenience for a simple install — 4 × 50 W maximum, 4 × 16 W nominal at under 1% THD. The reason to buy an SR-100 is the 8 RCA pre-outs at up to 5 V and the DSP behind them: every zone leaves the unit as a line-level signal, ready for real amplifiers.
Why a source unit with a DSP inside changes the build
A conventional build is head unit + outboard processor + a loom between them, and a laptop to tune it. The SR-100 puts the Core-DSP engine inside the source unit: one ISO harness, eight RCA runs to the amplifiers, done.
Not a 7-band tone shelf: a 31-band parametric equalizer where you can set the Q-factor of every band independently. That is what lets you pull down a single cabin resonance instead of dulling a whole octave.
In a car the driver sits closer to one door than the other, so sound arrives out of step and the stereo image collapses towards the near side. Enter each speaker’s distance and the receiver calculates the delay that puts the stage back in the middle.
Channels 1–6: HPF/LPF from 30 Hz to 12.5 kHz, or off. Channels 7–8: HPF/LPF from 30 Hz to 800 Hz, or off — the subwoofer pair. Slope adjustable up to 48 dB per octave in 6 dB steps, selectable Chebyshev filter.
Everything — EQ, crossover, time alignment, lighting colour — lives in the receiver’s own quick menu, so nothing is locked behind an app. The SPAUDIO app for iOS and Android mirrors the same screens with a touch interface when you want it.
D-SWC takes the car’s resistive steering-wheel buttons directly and learns them from the setup menu. No external interface to buy, hide and eventually blame.

Check the carton before you start the installation. Regional kits can vary — an antenna adapter or a vehicle-specific dash kit may be added or left out depending on the market, so ask your installer or your SPAUDIO dealer which parts your car needs.

The factory documentation for this model does not declare the chassis depth or the net weight, so we do not publish them: the chassis is a standard single-DIN. If your install needs the exact depth behind the dashboard, write to us and we will measure a unit rather than estimate it here. Specifications may change without notice.
Build the rest of the system
Read this before you install
- Disconnect the battery first. Remove the negative terminal before routing any cable near the dashboard, and reconnect it last.
- Fuse the permanent +12 V line with an inline fuse close to the battery, sized to the cable gauge. In a chafed cable or a crash, that fuse is what stops a fire.
- Bare-metal chassis ground, as short as possible. A bad ground causes noise, resets and erratic Bluetooth behaviour — it is the first thing to check, not the last.
- Keep RCA runs away from power cables. Eight pre-outs mean eight chances to pick up alternator whine: route signal and power on opposite sides of the car.
- Use the remote-out lead to switch the amplifiers on with the receiver, not a separate switch.
- 12 V negative-ground vehicles only, dry passenger-compartment mounting, free air around the chassis.
- Never open the case. There are no user-serviceable parts inside and opening it voids the warranty.
- Do not operate it while driving if it distracts you: set the source, the pairing and the EQ before moving off.
