The SP-BT 18 is a pair of high-current battery terminals that turns each battery post into a compact power hub: on every terminal two large outputs for 0 to 4 AWG cable and two 8 AWG outputs, all locked with hex-socket set screws, with a transparent cover for each terminal.
Why this terminal
Large-gauge cable keeps the voltage drop low when amplifiers pull hundreds of amps for a few seconds of bass.
Processors, DSP and small amplifiers get their own fused feed without splicing into the main cable.
No stacked ring terminals on the post: every cable has its own screw, fewer joints, a cleaner engine bay.
Fits round top-post batteries: the clamp bolt closes the clamp on the post, the knurled knob tightens by hand.
A transparent cover snaps over each terminal once the cables are tightened: no bare metal visible.
About 62 mm long: fits under the hood beside stock cables.

Complete the system
Before you install it
- Disconnect the battery first. Remove the negative terminal first and re-connect it last. Never let a tool bridge the positive post and the vehicle body.
- Fuse close to the battery. Every power cable leaving the positive terminal needs its own fuse or breaker within 20 cm, sized for the cable and the load.
- Use the right cable. 0 to 4 AWG in the two large outputs, up to 8 AWG in the two small ones. Never force a larger cable, never leave loose strands.
- Never feed the amplifier from the fuse box. Not from the fuse box, cigarette lighter or head-unit supply: only the battery can deliver the current a car-audio system needs.
- Re-tighten after the first week. Thermal cycling and vibration can loosen screws. Tighten securely, not brutally: over-tightening strips threads or crushes strands.
