SP-765 PRO — seven bands, and the tuning stays under your hand
An equalizer you drive, not one you program: seven graphic bands from 50 Hz to 12 kHz, each with its own knob and ±12 dB of boost or cut, plus a subwoofer channel with its own level and its own frequency. It sits between your source and your amplifiers as a line driver, sending up to 11 V RMS out of six RCA outputs — subwoofer, rear and front — with a front-to-rear fader on the same panel. Two RCA inputs, CD and AUX, switch from the front. No software, no app, no menus: every setting is a knob you can reach while driving.
What the numbers actually say
These are the figures the manufacturer prints on the unit itself. Read them the right way round: this is an equalizer and a line driver, not an amplifier. All six outputs are line level and must feed an external amplifier’s RCA inputs — never a speaker directly. What you buy is control you can reach: seven bands, a subwoofer level and a subwoofer frequency, all on knobs, and 11 V RMS of clean drive to push the signal down a long car without picking up noise. Signal-to-noise 90 dB, distortion 0.03%, channel separation 70 dB, response 15 Hz – 30 kHz at −3 dB.
Why a real equalizer still beats a tone control
50 Hz, 125 Hz, 315 Hz, 750 Hz, 2.2 kHz, 6 kHz and 12 kHz. Those are the places a cabin goes wrong: boom under the seats, boxiness in the doors, harshness on voices, dull top end. A bass and treble knob moves everything at once; seven bands let you fix one thing and leave the rest alone.
Twelve decibels up or down is a lot of correction — enough to tame a resonance you can hear from outside the car, or to bring back a range the door panels are swallowing. Turn one knob at a time with music you know well, and stop as soon as it sounds right.
The subwoofer gets its own RCA pair, its own level knob and its own frequency knob, adjustable across 43–120 Hz and 60–200 Hz. You set how much bass and where the bass stops, from the driving seat, without touching the amplifier under the seat.
Up to 11 V RMS on the outputs. A stronger signal means the amplifier gain can stay low, and a low gain is what keeps hiss, alternator whine and engine noise out of a system wired across a whole car.
Six RCA outputs in three pairs — sub, rear, front — so one, two or three amplifiers each get their own feed. The FADER knob moves the balance between front and rear without getting out of the seat.

The SP-765 PRO arrives in its printed retail box. Check the carton before you start: no dents, the knobs all turning freely and the RCA sockets clean and straight.
Included: SP-765 PRO unit · instruction manual
Not included: the RCA cables to your amplifiers and from your source, the power and ground wire with its inline fuse, and any bracket or trim to hold the unit in the dashboard — installation material that depends on the car. The factory documentation does not print a packing list, so if a specific cable or bracket matters for your install, ask us before you order and we will tell you what is really in the carton.

Build the rest of the system
Read this before you install
- Disconnect the battery before wiring. Working live on the Batt, Rem or Gnd terminals can damage the unit or the vehicle’s electronics.
- Supply 11–15 V DC, negative ground only. Do not power the unit from anything outside this range and do not use it on a positive-ground vehicle.
- These are line-level outputs. Sub, rear and front must feed an external amplifier’s RCA inputs, never a speaker directly.
- Fuse the +12 V line close to the battery and take the ground to bare metal, as short as you can make it. A long or painted ground is the usual reason an installation hums.
- Keep the RCA runs away from power cables. Cross signal and power at 90°, never run them side by side down the same channel.
- Set the amplifier gain last. With up to 11 V RMS on the outputs, start with all seven bands flat and the amplifier gain low, then raise the gain only as far as you need.
- Mount it where you can reach the knobs and where it stays dry: this is a unit you are meant to adjust while driving.
- Never open the case. There is nothing to adjust inside and opening it voids the warranty.
